Posteriormente, curs\u00f3 un M\u00e1ster en Ciencias y Tecnolog\u00edas, especializado en Matem\u00e1ticas de la Modelizaci\u00f3n, en la \u00c9cole Polytechnique de Francia. Adem\u00e1s, alcanz\u00f3 el grado de Doctor en la Universit\u00e9 Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI).<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 17px; font-family: helvetica; color: #000000;\">Su investigaci\u00f3n se centra en problemas de decisi\u00f3n en sistemas complejos, abordando perspectivas centralizadas y descentralizadas. Ha liderado y participado en diversos proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n financiados por instituciones nacionales e internacionales, enfoc\u00e1ndose en optimizaci\u00f3n de procesos industriales, log\u00edstica y gesti\u00f3n de operaciones.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 17px; font-family: helvetica; color: #000000;\">En el \u00e1mbito acad\u00e9mico, el Dr. V\u00e1squez se desempe\u00f1a como profesor titular en el Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda Industrial.
