Posee un Mag\u00edster y un Doctorado en Ciencias de la Ingenier\u00eda con menci\u00f3n en Ingenier\u00eda Industrial<span class=\"gmail_default\">\u00a0y de Sistemas<\/span>, por The University of Tennessee \u2013 Knoxville, especializado en gesti\u00f3n de la cadena de suministro, producci\u00f3n, log\u00edstica humanitaria y econom\u00eda circular. Ha sido Director de Postgrado de Programas Profesionales en la Vicerrector\u00eda de Postgrado y Director de nuestro Departamento, entre otros cargos de alta responsabilidad.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 17px; color: #000000; font-family: helvetica;\">Su investigaci\u00f3n se centra en el desarrollo de modelos de optimizaci\u00f3n y simulaci\u00f3n para la gesti\u00f3n de operaciones en manufactura, miner\u00eda y servicios. Ha liderado proyectos nacionales e internacionales financiados por entidades como CORFO e INNOVA Chile, abordando problem\u00e1ticas de sostenibilidad, optimizaci\u00f3n log\u00edstica y respuesta ante desastres.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 17px; color: #000000; font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ha publicado en revistas de alto impacto como <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mathematics<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sustainability<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> e <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">International Journal of Production Economics<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. En docencia, imparte cursos de simulaci\u00f3n de procesos, gesti\u00f3n de operaciones e ingenier\u00eda de la cadena de suministro en programas de pregrado, mag\u00edster y doctorado.
