Es Ingeniero Civil Industrial por la USACH y Doctor en Ciencias de la Computaci\u00f3n por Sorbonne Universit\u00e9, especializado en optimizaci\u00f3n matem\u00e1tica.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 17px; color: #000000;\">Su investigaci\u00f3n aborda el dise\u00f1o de algoritmos exactos y enfoques de descomposici\u00f3n para resolver problemas complejos de planificaci\u00f3n industrial y cadenas de suministro sostenibles. Ha liderado y participado en proyectos internacionales que exploran la optimizaci\u00f3n de procesos de remanufactura y la planificaci\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica bajo incertidumbre.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 17px; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ha publicado en revistas de prestigio como <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Computers &amp; Industrial Engineering<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Applied Energy<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, e <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">INFORMS Journal on Computing<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, y ha sido reconocido con el Best Paper Award en la conferencia CODIT (2019). Adem\u00e1s, coordina el proyecto Stic-AmSud (2025-2026) sobre planificaci\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica equitativa y sostenible.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 17px; color: #000000;\">En docencia, imparte cursos en pregrado y postgrado sobre programaci\u00f3n estoc\u00e1stica.
